It's been quite a while, yet i'm still not home

Im ashamedly late with this weeks edition. Two days late.  I was a taken away by a sweetheart. Now back on earth. 

 I've been busy. Im in a new hood! I went for a walk this week around my new digs, and all i could notice were these little odd balls - appealing to me, all fresh and new ... i got stuck in the afternoon rain, ended up under more bridges that i expected.  These sights are soon to be the boring things I pass every day, eventually boring me to death, making me want to move again. 

I've still got a good few months till the novelty dies. Visit me. I love visitors.

Things are starting to change around here, its getting colder

Saturday Certainties

Certainties. I love certainties. 

I know ill be back to Laos and its surrounds multiple times over the next 30 years or so. I actually see myself as an oldie exploring the parts i have not yet. I want to stretch it out over my life, just like rationing my favourite item of food on a plate. On my recent return its always on my mind. 

As im gearing up for trip to UK and Europe later in the year to visit a friend and explore selected parts of  the eastern bloc (my first Christmas in the COLD!), cannot wait to have my camera in tow.  But i honestly feel like im betraying myself just a little bit.  

My Vietnam post was a little while back. I had to add  and share some Laos gems, so here they are. . .


Back to the sketch book for next week.
